As the leader of Great Lakes Investment Group and with 30+ years of investment experience, Ken has learned the value of true financial planning. In 2001, he developed a proprietary process that looks at the big picture and includes a Financial BluePrint™ for each client. This helps showcase current goals and future plans with an active strategy that’s flexible, realistic and manageable.
In keeping with this model, Ken has built two principle categories into his practice:
- to manage the wealth needs of his clients
- to support families with a full-service Family Office
His ongoing work in creating life’s Financial BluePrint™ for each and every client helps sustain family wealth and well-being for generations.
Ken, his wife Wendy and two boys live in Burlington and actively contribute time and energy to various causes that they are passionate about.
Chris Jackson, MBA, CFA

As a Portfolio Manager with over 14 years of investment experience, Chris leads Great Lakes Investment Group’s research and due diligence efforts required to ensure the safety and success of each investment portfolio. His critical role in their proprietary process helps with big picture thinking and the creation of a Financial Blueprint™ for each and every client.
Having a predictable and realistic approach helps Chris understand the risk/return potential in every investment decision. Ultimately, this protects your hard-earned capital and allows you to rest assured you’re in good hands to move forward with life’s goals.
Chris and his 2 children live in Oakville where he is active in the community through philanthropy and athletics, both as a proud father and coach.
Michael MacPherson, CIM
Associate Investment Advisor
Michael brings a fresh perspective to the team with his extensive background in derivates strategies and trading. For our clients, this helps mitigate risk and protect assets, which is a critical component in building a Financial Blueprint™.
Looking back, he started his career in London where he advised on strategic communications for the Police Federation of UK, lobbyists in the House of Commons and House of Lords and various UK Government programs. He moved back to Canada in 2009, where he oversaw US and Canadian derivatives trading and joined one of the top Canadian advisory firms working as an advisor and trader.
Michael, his wife and new baby live locally and are actively involved in their community. When not at work, he can be found playing his guitar, snowboarding and biking.
Neeru Gupta, CFP®, RRC
Wealth Advisor
Neeru brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry to the Great Lakes Investment Group and is both a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and a Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC®).
In addition to her significant financial planning and investment experience, Neeru is also fluent in Hindi.
Amanda Pacheco
Financial Associate
Amanda has significant knowledge in the financial services industry with more than 25 years of experience.
She is a graduate of the Finance program at Sheridan College in Oakville.
She assists the Investment Advisor in managing existing investment portfolios and developing new business by providing service directly to clients.

Since 2006, Ruth has been with CIBC Wood Gundy, focusing on building strong client relationships. Outside work, she enjoys time with her two adult daughters
